Today my first online "deal" began with Plum District. Yipee!
It inspired me to paint this 4th of July Plate which was featured by my supplier Bisque Imports. I love working on plates. They are a blank canvas where you can get super creative.

First cut out different sized stars of your choice and trace on the bisque plate.

Next, paint the stars white. I know it looks light blue but after firing it will become a brilliant white! I painted 2 coats.

Carefully paint blue around the stars and leave the rim white. I painted the rim with 1 coat of white just to brighten it up.

Add text with a small brush or writer bottle.

Add red stripes around the rim.

Waaaa Laaaa!!!! 4th of July Plate! Now a quick fire and it will be ready to celebrate Independence Day with cookies, cuppies or ribs!
What can you do with a plate? or 4! Grab the Plum District 4 pack deal!
